Development and Analysis of
Innovation Indicators in the Nordic Countries
based on CIS-surveys
The publication is part of the NIND project: Policy Relevant Nordic Innovation Indicators, funded from the Nordic Innovation Centre, which is gratefully acknowledged.
The objective of the report is to identify relevant indicators of innovation for Nordic countries and how these indicators can be interpreted and used as input for policy design. To this aim, the report uses the indicators to conduct a comparative statistical analysis of the Nordic countries. The analyses are based on CIS4, the Fourth Community Innovation Survey conducted in more than 30 countries.
